Our original palette was most definitely distinctive in the sector, but the pastel nature of the colours didn’t emit a sense of energy and dynamism. We’ve revisited the palette to address that, creating a new lead colour along with some energetic and playful supporting colours.
Palettes
Primary
Our primary palette is based on a much punchier version of the classic ‘orange’ we used previously. Much more saturation, but also much more warmth, as evident in our new ‘Warm Gold’.
A clear nod to winning, inspired by the tones of a gold medal, our new lead colour stands much stronger and in higher contrast to the darkness of the interface.
Secondary
Using the new primary palette as a foundation, we paired a combination of joyful and energetic secondary colours to support. Bright neons, bubblegum pinks and rich emeralds better represent the lush colours and energy of computer games and diversity of our community.
Neutral
Our neutral palette is ideal for text, backgrounds, and other applications where readabilty and contrast are key.
Red
In some cases we may need to communicate negative concepts, alerts, notifications, or other messages that require a red palette. For those situations you can use the following colour set based on our brand re-work.

Color Balance
Whilst black is our predominant neutral, we still use a fair amount of white. The most recognisable colour should always be ‘warm gold’, and used more liberally than the three supporting colours. Black and Gold are our most common pairings.
